Every winemaker has a product in their timeline, which clearly reflects the very spirit of the company and becomes the quintessence of all the work invested in each and every bottle. For the Moldavian winemaking company Vinaria din Vale that wine is Apogeu - an intense blend of Feteasca Neagra, Malbec and Rara Neagra with a limited run of only 4444 bottles. Such a unique product required a special approach, that’s why we’ve focused on creating a label design, which would emphasize the premium character of the drink and the producer’s aspiration to embody all the best they have to offer in this wine.
Apogeu is a project that every designer dreams about. Without being restricted by a budget, we could integrate a whole range of techniques in this design that allowed to take the label to a whole new level and showcase the product’s premium quality. On one hand, the tempered composition constructed with just black and gold tones, employs a special pattern that transforms the label into a multifaceted and voluminous object. The application of modern post-printing technologies amplify the effect this design has on the consumer, making them look at it from different angles and discover new facets of the design.
