Tasting notes:

Kakasok 2013 (from the Mád Kakasok vineyard)   I 84-85 points
Exciting aromas of pear, green apple, citrus fruit and almond. The palate is taut, vibrant, with a slight pétillance, citrus fruit and minerals. Bone dry finish.

Kőleves 2013  I 87-88 points
Sweet spices, a little cinnamon, cloves overripe apples and almonds on the nose. Full bodied, with lovely acidity, apple, citrus and flinty notes. Well balanced with a long finish.

Drágaszág 2013  I 93-95 points
Restrained, elegant aromas of peach, almond, sage, vanilla and summer flowers. Taut on the palate, with vibrant and crisp elegance! Absolutely not your usual dry Tokaj, but nevertheless close to perfection.

Re-serve 2013  I 90-91 points
Peach, cinnamon, allspice, a little sandalwood and lily on the nose. Full bodied, attractive acidity, firm tannins, citrus fruit, barrel spices and a little vanilla and hazelnut. Very long finish, most reminiscent of a young Burgundy.

Serpa 2014 (Omlás)  I 87-89 points
Ripe apple, pear, a little Plasticine, wet stone and salty sea breeze on the coolly elegant nose. Medium bodied, with lively acidity and a firm structure. Plenty of citrus fruit, with a lively, Mediterranean feel.

Palánkos 2013  I 86-88 points
Marzipan, punch, almonds, thermal water and ripe peach on the nose. Full body, creamy texture with bright acidity. Flavours of citrus fruit, green apple and minerality.

Szingli Barrel 2014  I 86-88 points
White flowers, citrus fruit and thyme on the nose. Medium bodied and well balanced, with plenty of fruit, minerals, citrus and spice. Exciting!

5q essence 6p aszú 2007  I 95-97 points
Restrained nose of apple sauce, mushroom and dried fruit. Extremely mouth filling, with smooth acidity and a silky texture. Flavours of dried apricot, complemented with cloves, compote, peach, pear and nutmeg. Not the most typical style of aszú, in perfect harmony and balance, with an infinite finish.
