Cortes de Cima, a white farmhouse, sitting atop a small hill in sunny Alentejo, has been home to the Danish 'winegrower', as he jokingly calls himself.

Relax with a book from José Saramago, José Luis Peixoto or Antonío Lobo Antunes, three acclaimed contemporary writers, with some fado playing in the background, perhaps a little Misia, Mariza or Amália Rodrigues.

One can find the Tonković winery in Serbia, close to the border of Hungary, right next to Királyhalom stretching across 25000 hectares or so in the wine-region of Szabadka-Horgos.

We had already had the chance to taste some wines from this Subotican winery; however, we were very happy to receive an invitation to the winery while waiting for a jazz concert in Budapest.

The French Master of Wine, Isabelle Legeron, is a big fan of Oszkár’s wines, as a regular visitor to the cellar.
